Parakeets

Not as popular as their cousins, the Indian Ringneck and Alexandrine these birds are often referred to as the best kept secrets of the parrot world.   Mustached parakeets are active and like to wander around, they are sweet and make wonderful pets.

Plum-headed parakeets are found in flocks, the males having a pinkish purple head and the females, a grey head.  They are very friendly and most owners find these parrots to have enjoyable personalities.  These parrots make great pets.

Alexandrine parakeets are generally peacefully with others of its kind but might be aggressive toward other birds.  They are highly intelligent, playful, and talkative.  Overall their amicable nature makes them extremely popular as pets.

These birds are known to be exceptional talkers with amazing clarity.  Coupled with their beauty and their medium size, these features have made them attractive companion birds.
